One of the biggest complaints I hear from my challengers or just people I know is, there just isn’t enough TIME to get everything done. They hardly have time to get the kids off the school, work, shuttle the kids to different activities, make dinner, do laundry, help with homework, etc etc. There’s hardly enough time in the day for a glass of wine, much less getting in a WORKOUT and making a HEALTHY dinner! Or God forbid, just to sit in SILENCE for a minute! Is this you? I can relate 100%. However, I am a firm believer in this:
That might be a little tough love but let’s face it–NONE of us really have a whole lot of time to spare. And if we do, working out or sitting in silence probably isn’t high on the list.
But taking care of yourself in Body, Mind and Spirit not only helps YOU, but it helps everyone around you. I always feel recharged and energized after a workout or after having some ME time..do you feel that way? I feel like I have the energy and focus to be a better mom, wife, friend, employee…everything!

Hal Elrod, author of The Miracle Morning says: “On the one hand, we all want to be happy. On the other hand, we all know the things that make us happy. But we don’t do those things. Why? Simple. We are too busy. Too busy doing what? Too busy trying to be happy.”
Ouch. But it’s true! In his book, The Miracle Morning, Elrod suggests SIX basic things we can do for US each and every morning. He calls them Life S.A.V.E.R.S – simple practices you can do every morning to change your life. I will tell you I do a few of these and it’s changed my life. Some of these things you might do every day. But some of them might put you outside of your comfort zone. For me, affirmations is totally outside my comfort zone!! I wrote about my morning routine HERE but I would love to go outside my comfort zone and incorporate some of these practices from The Miracle Morning.
